WORD WARRIOR

The purpose in this manual is to group verses of scripture together to easily reference the subjects you need God’s Word for in your life or to help others in their need. All scripture used is from the King James Version or the Bible.

In this day and age, it helps to have a strong basis in the Word of God to deal with the everyday problems that life brings us. Many a time I’ve needed God’s reassuring Word and I gathered all the scriptures of comfort and put them together so I would be able to have exactly what I needed right when I needed it. The Word is powerful and inspirational and alive with God’s son, Jesus who died for us on the cross.

God’s Word is our answer to the challenges of life. You have the authority and power to claim his precepts over every situation.

All of man is important to God. He sent his Son, Jesus to die for us all and every one of our sins. We are his representatives in this world and examples of how he wants us to live. His greatest command was that we love each other and we can best do this by being a vessel for his love to come through us and shine for all to see.

We have become complacent with our God given rights. The minority has taken away prayer in school, displaying of God’s Commandments and many other things to remove God from our country. Then they wonder why morality has gone out the window.

I pray that this manual will let God’s Word inspire you, guide you and empower you to let Jesus work through you to bring a light into this world of darkness. Find the verses here to embrace your authority.

We all must become a prayer warrior. We must put on the whole armor of God. We must be a soldier of God and His word. To do that we must all be a Word Warrior.

YOUR SALVATION

Salvation, all by itself, is not complex. Jesus died for us – believe that – call on him to save you. That’s what it boils down to. Those are the three things involved in the sinners’ prayer. It is simple and uncomplicated. For the sinner it is that simple. At the same time it is the most important thing involved in becoming a Christian. For the one trying to lead one to Christ, an in depth understanding would help. My purpose in this chapter is not to complicate those simple steps but rather to explain them in detail.

The Word has many verses on the subject of salvation but really they all say the same thing. The important thing to remember is that the Holy Spirit is the one who calls a sinner to repent and is the one who urges them to come to Jesus. Your role is important, to be an example and to be led by the Holy Spirit in what to say to let them know they are in need of a Savior. But God’s Spirit does the actual calling and Jesus’ sacrifice of his blood is what saves someone.

It is similar to joining the military and some have likened it to becoming a soldier in God’s army. You are the recruiter. You inform the prospective Christian as to why it would be to his benefit to join the service. The Holy Spirit provides conviction. Then it becomes the sinners’ decision and is between him and God. Sometimes it’s you being an example that opens up the opportunity to witness to someone that might not otherwise come up.

Once saved, you then begin the journey of becoming a Godly person. A Christian is not only one who accepts Jesus’ sacrifice but also is a person in training to become a Godly person. Jesus and the Word working in you is how this growth is accomplished. You got the ticket to go to heaven. If you died, the minute after being saved you would go to heaven. If you remain here for any length of time, you now take the journey, which begins with being baptized as the Word requires. So, you are a Christian in the sense that you are saved and the other definition is that a Christian is someone who is becoming Christ-like.

To accomplish this you strive more and more to be like Jesus and the example that he set for us while on this Earth. The important thing to remember in relation to this part is that it is also the Holy Spirit and Jesus working in us to reach this state. They work inside of you to bring this about in harmony with scripture. This also is between you and God. You work out your own salvation. There is help along the way, but salvation and becoming Christ-like is something no one can do for you.
